Generic Capacity Development

This is a programme of capacity development events planned every year covering various aspects of work in the sector and intended for different stakeholders.
Most of these are self- financing events so there is a fee but it is lower than the market price for the quality of event.

Tailored Activities

NASHO is available develop specific capacity development projects for stakeholders in the sector whether it is a one off training event or a more complex organisational intervention. NASHO will work with the stakeholder organisation in defining the capacity intervention, organise and manage it and mobilise the necessary skills and knowledge to make it successful.

Learning Hub

As part of the Canadian Government programme managed by Rooftops NASHO was provided with financing for 3 Learning Hubs, 1 each in Cape Town, Johannesburg and EThekwini. Our members in Nelson Mandela Bay, Buffalo City and Emahlahleni are also using their board room facilities to complement the network.

These are audio visual conferencing venues that permit the organising of capacity development, information exchanges, workshops and meetings. NASHO with Equal Spaces has a formal programme of events.  It is also possible for other sector stakeholders to book to use these facilities for a small fee.
